I wonder how many of your own people you have to destroy before you’ll realize you are only advancing the agenda of Satan with your attacks on each other. I wonder how many more destroyed lives the churches will allow before the pastors grow a set and start enacting biblical discipline on their congregations. I wonder many more destroyed fellowships have to be endured before Pastors will start taking their flocks to task. I wonder how many congregations will continue to play the power and mind games they play before they realize they aren’t being Godly but Satanic? How many individuals faith do you have to destroy for your own satisfaction? I wonder how many congregations being destroyed it will take for these people to stop being Satanic and start being godly?
What hurts the most,
Is being being so close
having so much to say
watching you walk away
You never when
what could have been
not seeing that loving you
is what i was trying to do

Here is the full song and it nearly perfectly details my feleings about “fellow Christians”.
I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house
That don’t bother me
I can take a few tears now and then and just let em out
I’m not afraid to cry every once in a while even though
Goin’ on with you gone still upsets me
There are days every now and again I pretend I’m okay
But that’s not what gets me
What hurts the most
Was being so close
And havin’ so much to say
And watchin’ you walk away
And never knowin’
What could’ve been
And not seein’ that lovin’ you
Is what I was tryin’ to do
It’s hard to deal with the pain of losin’ you everywhere I go
But I’m doin’ it
It’s hard to force that smile when I see our old friends and I’m alone
Still harder gettin’ up, gettin’ dressed, livin’ with this regret
But I know if I could do it over
I would trade, give away all the words that I saved in my heart
That I left unspoken
What hurts the most
Is being so close
And havin’ so much to say
(Much to say)
And watchin’ you walk away
And never knowin’
What could’ve been
And not seein’ that lovin’ you
Is what I was tryin’ to do, oh
Oh yeah
What hurts the most
Was being so close
And havin’ so much to say
(To say)
And watchin’ you walk away
And never knowin’
What could’ve been
And not seein’ that lovin’ you
Is what I was tryin’ to do
Not seein’ that lovin’ you
That’s what I was trying to do, ooo
My inspiration for this post is a video on youtube. Listen to his rendition and then read below after pondering the lyrics.

pastors, churches, congregations, PEOPLE it’s time for this lunacy to stop before we are relegated to an small… ineffective minority. let’s not reject those with a passion for Christ..let’s embrace them. it’s time for the destruction of each other to stop. If you truly want revival…when somebody cautiously enters your house looking for fellowship let’s welcome them as a member of Jesus’s family. If you truly believed that it wouldn’t take nearly 10 years for someone to be truly welcomed. The first act should be welcoming the person to your house of God…not immediately recruiting for whatever clique or fiefdom you have setup. The first ongoing act should not be to see how this passionate person can be brought to heel….the correct way is to find out how that person can be plugged in and that god given fire been utilized to re-light the church’s beacon of Jesus’s light..not a systematic plan of attacks and whispers to keep the church’s light at a comfortable level that you can control. how many churches are spiritually empty? I’ve known quite a few and am currently worried about another one. I could go on for much longer but most folks have already tuned out by now. For those truly brave souls who have read through…and are truly moved to jump into your church and institute some change let me know you’ve found this inspiring. As the Spirit inspires me i’ll post more here.
