At a time of difficult trade offs and decisions. We are all integral parts in our overall progress. There are not easy decisions. We must depend on the truth in our own hearts. There is something that stirs with each of us. When we talk to a family who has a job, who has saved their home from foreclosure, it is the same feeling we all saw in the eyes of native children. These children were native Marylanders and recognized for the first time in 380 years. There are many who will ask why the long time?
